Situation
Michigan-based Genesys Health System provides accredited continuing education for more than 900 nurses and 500 physicians through its Genesys Learning Institute. Clinical educators and medical research teams at Genesys wanted to share their knowledge on subjects not commonly found in healthcare course libraries to provide more education and capture the top 10 percent of specialized clinical knowledge and skills.
Our goal at Genesys is to improve the quality of care by providing our professionals with ‘best practice’ clinical education, and the team at Adayana has been invaluable in helping us make online learning work for our medical professionals.

Solution
The Genesys Learning Institute and Adayana partnered to construct unique e-Learning programs. These 60-minute, online learning opportunities demonstrate specific surgical procedures taught by fellow surgeons and clinical educators to transform the deep expertise of leading clinicians into a practical knowledge-transfer experience for learners. Online components include videos, diagrams, animation, embedded interaction and comprehensive examinations to facilitate the learning process and keep the content engaging.
Success
With the support of Adayana, all Genesys employees complete annual health and safety training requirements on the Learning Management System (LMS). With a continuing education program that translates medical knowledge into clinical excellence for patients, the Genesys Learning Institute would not depend on any ordinary e-Learning company.
